We have access to healthcare and medicine. There are all the makings of a very healthy lifestyle.
Yet 1 in 9 Australian women are deemed to be infertile, that is a staggering number. Many women are choosing to set themselves up first financially before deciding to become pregnant. This is an important decision in the process as we all should know it is more difficult to become pregnant as we get older.
It would appear in our culture that it is becoming more and more difficult to find the right partner to father your child.
Looking at the T.V. every night we are being bombarded with shows like “Married at first Sight”, “Farmer wants a Wife”, “Beauty and the Geek”. It is sad when you have to go onto a reality show to hopefully find a partner. The other options are of course the “Tinders” along with the other online dating sites. These have been shown that they can be fraught with danger for the innocent.
Years ago most of us met our future husbands at a dance or were introduced to them by friends and family. In Australia today women are a lot more independent. They have their own houses, the majority are widely travelled, and have very definite ideas on what they want from their future husbands.
Women should realise that we are all human with faults, nobody is perfect and that partnerships teach us that we have to learn to give and take in any relationship to make it work.
